Payment & Office Policies

Petrie Chiropractic strives to make your chiropractic health care as convenient and effective as possible. In addition to offering the most effective treatments available, we offer early morning, lunchtime and early evening office hours and a variety of flexible payment options.

Although we suggest you call to make an appointment, we try to keep a relatively open appointment schedule for your convenience. If you are a new patient, an appointment is required.

Payments and Insurance

Insurance companies do not require a referral from your medical doctor prior to seeing a chiropractor.

Unlike many chiropractic offices, pre-payment plans are not mandatory. We tell our patients exactly what they need, and give them what they want!

We accept cash, checks, debit cards and credit cards, including MC and Visa. Most insurance is accepted. Currently, we honor the following insurance programs:

  • All Blue Cross Blue Shield of MA and RI Plans

  • Harvard Pilgrim

  • Blue Chip

  • Medicare

  • Mass Carpenters Health Benefit Fund

  • Tuft's Out of Network Coverage

  • United Health Care out of Network

  • Auto and personal injury cases accepted

Some people may be overwhelmed by an extended treatment plan if one is recommended. We are aware of this and allow you the opportunity to break this treatment schedule into stages. A long-time chiropractic patient himself, Dr. Petrie recognizes the need for some patients to question their treatment, and encourages his patients to seek a second opinion from another chiropractor of their choice.
